It is compatible with the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. Avast is generally regarded as being one of the most effective antivirus programs on the market, providing the same level of protection as many of the full price models. It comes with antivirus, anti-spyware and heuristics engines, which provide multiple shields to protect your computer from threats in real time, and is almost certainly the strongest antivirus program that is available to home users completely free of charge. Recent updates have also made the scanning function forty percent faster than previous versions, which means that it accomplishes its task both considerably faster and takes up less of the computer’s resources while it scans.
At the end of the day, both AVG and Avast are good choices for users who wish to protect their computer without paying excessively to do so.
